Heartline Fitness Acquires ABR Tech LLC, Expanding The Company’s Current Georgia Market Position and Capabilities

Heartline Fitness Systems, a division of American Amenities, LLC, has acquired Atlanta, GA-based, ABR Tech, LLC (“ABR”). Owned by Adam Gelatka and Ryan Abram, ABR has been providing commercial fitness equipment repair and maintenance services in the Atlanta area since 2010.

Bob Burgess, CEO of Heartline Fitness, commented on the recent acquisition, “We couldn’t be happier with our partnership with ABR, Adam and Ryan have built a reputation based on customer service excellence.” “It was ABR’s adherence to service and customer relationships that drew us to them and was paramount in our discussions. At the end of the day, ABR perfectly aligns with our core value of being a service first company.”

“The timing couldn’t be more perfect joining the two firms together in the southeast,” says Jeff Shipman, president of Heartline’s Technical Services Division. “We have been growing our sales and service position in Atlanta since 2015, and ABR increases our market position and capabilities in one strategic move.”

Mr. Shipman continues, “ABR compliments our strong customer partnerships and core value of delivering great customer service.”

“To say we were hesitant in this undertaking would be an understatement.” “Ryan and I were not looking to sell our business, but we also knew we wanted to build something great,” says Adam Gelatka, ABR’s co-owner. “Jeff and Bob couldn’t have been more patient in educating us on Heartline’s plans, and how we could fit in.” “We’re looking forward to helping Heartline take our business to the next level in the southeast.”

ABR is Heartline’s fourth service company acquisition in the last seven years. The ABR acquisition is critical in elevating Heartline’s position in the southeast United States, and in particular, Atlanta, a key gateway city.
